the physics in self-judgement

It's fashionable to talk about judgement of any sort in philosophical or idealistic terms without a tangible handle to flush this down.
what is the mechanics that govern this notion? How does it actually hurt our spiritual progress?

Out for breakfast I was reading an article on Gratitude by a spiritual teacher. Something about it bothered me. I realized it was the tone.

While Gratitude is a good place to come to eventually the article sent the message it was not ok to be where you are at in the moment.

Paraphrased it sounded something like this....
"well when crappy things happen just suck it up and find gratitude"
"things just happen, dont ask why"
"don't wish for something different"

If everything is happening the way it's supposed to....then the now is divine. Nothing needs to be changed about it. Even pain.

This highlighted a pattern rampant with teachers.....unrealistic idealism.
It's a trap because it sets us up for emotional strangulation and disempowerment expected to act a certain ideal way.

The idea that "things just happen" is a disempowering position to take because it sets us up as a...victim.
But we are not a victim. We co-created everything in your life.

Generally speaking, lot of us pursuing personal growth tend to be hard on ourselves.
When we get triggered, as we often do, this earnestness can be a trap that leads to the lion's den.....self judgement.

I've noticed this often while teaching the Clairvoyant class, the students, as is the process, are triggered initially to enable release of their limiting beliefs.

Now as the disempowering patterns surface and float before their eyes students start to become conscious of the unconcious lies.
Instead of patting themselves themselves for the uncovering the lies, most start to get self judgemental.

"i cant beleive i did that to myself"
"oh my god, i have been living my mother's dream all these years"
"how stupid could I've been?"

Discovering lies can be very painful.
Self-judgment hurts even more....and stalls our progress.

Instead of congratulating ourselves for uncovering the lie, we get caught up in judgement of the lie.

Why is that a problem?
It's not, per se.
Not until you look at the physics of it.

Placing judgement, has the propensity for perpetuating the lie instead of releasing it.
Releasing, may seem the logical step after uncovering something that is not working for you.

Let's look at the physics of judgement. Take the example of a swinging pendulum.

Apply force to left or the right, it does not bring the pendulum to....rest.
What allows the pendulum to come to rest quicker is LETTING IT come to rest.

The same applies to what we notice. Positive or negative, judgment is judgment. Period.
You are in essence saying something or someone, is good or bad.
Both have a charge to it. Positive or negative.

By applying the energy of judgement, you charge a situation even more to an already charged situation. This prolongs diffusion or doesnt happen.

So what can you do?

Do nothing.

Try Awareness.
Just noticing something is Awareness.

Noticing something without fueling it further with thoughts like .....

"I'm never doing that again. I always get hurt"
"how stupid could I have been?"
"why do men/women always hurt me?"

Do nothing, can seem futile when you want the pain to just go away.

There are things you can do besides judgement.

Breathe. Notice the tensions in your body.

As you 'do nothing' and 'just notice'...are you breathing?

Often in such cases breath becomes shallow.
The simplest, most forgotten yet most powerful action you can take is to......breathe.

How about your body?
Depending on intensity of what you are looking at, you might notice tension in the body.
Solar plexus?
shoulder?
lower back?
where is it?

Bringing your attention (hence your awareness) to your body can often work miracles.
I have even gone as far as massaging that part of my body gently and/or doing gentle stretches.

I'm often surprised by how much I dont want to focus on breathing or notice my body.
But how well it works when I do it.

The more unconsiuos we are off what is going in our body more that tension can control us.
what is going in our body is often related to what we got triggered by.

Allowing something to dwindle down on its own.
Often I notice when I allow something to play out, it diffuses and relases much faster than i ever imagines.

If you are an over achiever and want extra homework......here is a 3 step process.

Step #1:
Picture a rose (nuetral and high vibrational energy) in front of you.
Say about three feet from your body (trying to have you place outside your Aura).

Step #2:
Intend, for all that that your got triggered by and all the lies to go into the Rose. When you feel done, explode the Rose.

Step #3:
See a gold bubble on top of your head. See it filled with your soul essence and your highest good.
Pop the bubble and drop the energy into your body fillin the places you felt tension.

It really can be that simple.Let go.

Give yourself a break, will ya?
